This image gallery contains photos from Bogota, the capital of Colombia, Medellin, Ipiales, and the famous tourist towns of Salento and Guatape.
Ipiales is a cute historic town, surrounded by a nice Andean landscape.
City park in Ipiales – every single tree in the park was decorated like this one.
patio exit at my hostel in Ipiales
Medellin uses gondolas (telefericos) for public transport – a nice substitution for buses
El barrio in Bogota – The city is generally safe. There are plenty of security attendants patrolling in the city center, the old town, and along the popular Mount Monserrate trail.

Colombia has an abundance of street art!
